Additional Allowances Applications Applications to the Reserve Bank for additional allowances may be made, should your current allocations be insufficient. The application does, however, require reasonable motivation, and it is entirely at the Reserve Banks' discretion to approve or reject any application. Sufficient time for approval prior to departure should be allowed for each application. In case of an emergency applications can be processed urgently at an additional cost.
